Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. She is the youngest of five siblings, including two brothers and sisters younger. The parents of Miley named her hoping they would have her succeed. Miley was her childhood nickname due to the cheerfulness of Miley. Her grandfather, a Democrat political figure, Ron Cyrus, was her paternal grandparents. Cyrus started school with Heritage Elementary School. The family she was born in moved from Tennessee Toronto Canada when she was eight years old. Billy Ray Cyrus took on the role of Doc (2001) in which she was the main character on in the TV show. Cyrus started acting in that time. She acted alongside her father, Doc (2001), in the initial part of this movie. She also had a minor role in Tim Burton's Big Fish. Cyrus was chosen in 2005 as the star of the Disney TV show Hannah Montana, which is an edgy teenager living in a double life. Again, her father was on the show with her. The song became a huge hit that soon sold out tours were announced, as well as merchandising agreements. Cyrus gained fame when she was an teen. In the wake of her breakout role in Hannah Montana (2006), Cyrus began to move to other roles, including the role of Ronnie Miller in The Last Song (2010) and Lola in LOL (2012) along with Demi Moore.
